1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“002327476000083”) govern the rental of vehicles provided by StephCar, a car rental company operating in Morocco. By using our services, website, or signing our rental agreement, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1.2 The term “Rental Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to StephCar. The term “Renter”, “Customer”, “you” refers to the person or entity renting the vehicle.

2. Booking and Confirmation

2.1 Reservations made through our website, email, phone, or third-party platforms are subject to availability.
2.2 A booking confirmation will be sent to your email when payment or authorization is received.
2.3 The rental is only effective upon signature of the Rental Agreement at pick-up.

3. Driver Requirements

3.1 Drivers must be at least 21 years old (or older depending on vehicle category) and hold a valid driver’s license.
3.2 An International Driving Permit may be required for non-Moroccan licenses.
3.3 The driver must present a valid passport or national ID and a credit card in their name for deposit and authorization.

4. Rental Period and Charges

4.1 The rental period starts when the vehicle is picked up and ends when it is returned to the agreed location and time.
4.2 Charges are calculated per day. Late returns may incur additional fees.
4.3 All rates are quoted in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) unless otherwise specified.

5. Payments and Deposit

5.1 A valid credit card is required for security deposit (amount varies by vehicle class).
5.2 The deposit will be authorized at pick-up and released upon inspection of the vehicle at return, subject to deductions if applicable.
5.3 Accepted payment methods: major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). Cash payments may be accepted only with prior agreement.

6. Insurance and Liability

6.1 Basic insurance (third-party liability) is included. Additional insurance options (Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Theft Protection, Super CDW) may be purchased at pick-up.
6.2 Insurance coverage may be subject to excess/deductible amounts.
6.3 The renter is responsible for all fines, tolls, and fees incurred during the rental period.
6.4 The renter is liable for damage caused by negligent driving, breach of terms, or prohibited use.

7. Use of the Vehicle

7.1 The vehicle may only be driven by authorized drivers listed on the Rental Agreement.
7.2 The vehicle must not be used for racing, towing, off-road driving, illegal purposes, or transported outside Morocco without prior written consent.
7.3 Smoking, pets without protection, and carrying hazardous goods in the vehicle is prohibited.

8. Fuel Policy

8.1 Vehicles are provided with a full fuel tank and must be returned full unless otherwise agreed.
8.2 If not returned full, a refueling charge plus a service fee will apply.

9. Breakdowns and Accidents

9.1 In case of mechanical failure not caused by misuse, StephCar will provide assistance or a replacement vehicle if available.
9.2 In the event of an accident, you must notify local authorities and StephCar immediately and provide a complete report.
9.3 You must not admit fault or negotiate settlements without our authorization.

10. Cancellations and Modifications

10.1 Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up to avoid penalties.
10.2 Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee equal to one day’s rental.
10.3 Modifications are subject to availability and rate changes.

11. Privacy Policy

11.1 We collect personal information to process reservations and comply with legal requirements.
11.2 Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy accessible on the website.
11.3 By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as set out in the Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 StephCar’s liability for any claim related to this Agreement is limited to the total rental charges paid.
12.2 StephCar is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

13.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.
13.2 Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Morocco.

By booking and/or accepting delivery of the rental vehicle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions in full.
